PM Modi to visit only Gajwel at Medak District


The government of Telangana planned to launch first of mission bhagiratha & thermal project on the visit of PM Narendra Modi on August 7th, 2016. But now, the sources says that Modi to visit only gajwel to launch Mission Bhagiratha programme & return back to New Delhi after the maha sabha to be held at gajwel.

PM Modi to visit only Gajwel at Medak District

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit only Gajwel in Medak district as part of his maiden visit to Telangana State in the capacity as the head of the Union Government.

According to a press release issued by the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office here on Thursday, Mr Modi will arrive in a special aircraft at Begumpet airport on August 7 at 2.20 pm and will leave for Gajwel by helicopter.

After participating in several developmental programmes by laying the foundation stone for some schemes and inaugurating some other programmes and also addressing a public meeting, he will leave Gajwel for Hyderabad at 4.30 pm.

The Prime Minister will leave for Delhi from Begumpet airport itself at 6.40 pm. The official communication stated that the Prime Minister would inaugurate the first phase of Mission Bhagiratha, the piped drinking water scheme to every household, for nine constituencies by unveiling a pylon at Gajwel which is among the assembly segments covered in the first phase.

The other eight constituencies covered in the first phase include Medchal, Siddipet, Alair, Bhongir, Dubbak, Jangoan, Tungaturthi and Station Ghanpur.

Further, the Prime Minister would dedicate to the nation the 2×600 MW thermal power plant set up by Singareni Collieries Company Ltd at Jaipur in Adilabad district, lay foundation stone for 2×800 MW thermal power plant being set up by NTPC at Ramagundam as part of the 4,000 MW dedicated power plant for Telangana as per the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.

Besides, Mr. Modi would lay the foundation stone for Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited being revived at Ramagundam in Karimnagar district. The National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) in the joint venture with Engineers India Limited (EIL) is undertaking the revival of the Ramagundam unit of Fertilizers Corporation of India Limited.He will also inaugurate Kaloji Narayan Rao Health University, Warangal, and lay the foundation stone for Manoharabad-Kothapalli railway line.
