Mission Bhagiratha water by March: Suryapet Collector

Suryapet: The district administration is fast gearing up to supply safe drinking water to every house in the first week of March by completing Mission Bhagiratha project works, according to district Collector K Surendra Mohan. He inspected the project related works at Immampet on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Surendra Mohan said drinking water of Mission Bhagiratha would be supplied to Suraypet municipality, Chivvemla mandal, Penphad and Garidepally mandals in March by completing the construction of water treatment plant at Immampet. He also instructed officials to speed up the works of the in-take well of Mission Bhagiratha.

He suggested officials, engineers and contracted agencies to work in coordination and complete the project on time. He also asked the officials to take the permission of R & B department while laying pipelines. He has also appealed the people to cooperate with the officials in laying of pipelines in the villages when any constructions needs to be removed. Executive engineer of Mission Bhagiratha Venkateshwarlu, Deputy EE Naresh and others were also present.
