Meal for Rs 10 launched at Nalgonda library

Nalgonda: For the convenience of the readers at the District Central Library in Nalgonda, meal at the price of Rs 10 was launched on Thursday.

Nalgonda district library has a large number of books useful for the unemployed youth, who are preparing for competitive examinations. About 300 to 400 persons usually utilise the competitive books section of the library every day. The newspapers and magazines section of the library also would register 400 to 500 readers every day.

Keeping in mind those students who spend a lot of time in the library, the District Central Library chairman Rekhala Badaradri took the initative and launched meal for Rs 10.

Launching the programme, the district Collector Gaurav Uppal said that this initiative would help the unemployed. He also reminded that reference books for competitive examination were also made available at the library for the purpose of job aspirants.

Rekhala Badaradri told tokens would be issued for Rs 10 a meal programme at 12 noon every day and special measures would be taken up to issue the token to the readers only.

Nalgonda Assembly Constituency TRS In-Charge Kancharla Bhupal Reddy and others were also present.
