Land records purification completed in 563 villages in Nalgonda

Nalgonda: Land records purification was completed in all 563 revenue villages in Nalgonda district. There are 566 revenue villages in 31 mandals in the district and purification was taken up in 563 revenue villages.

Land Records Purification was not taken up in three revenue villages – Sunskishala, Nandikonda and Vijayapuri north of Peddavoora mandals of Miryalaguda revenue division, as they were submerged in Nagarjunasagar project and land records were not available.

According to official statistics, land records verification was completed for 16,56,583 acres in the district. In the process, total 15,60,504 acres of land was found clear and 96,078 acres of land was found unclear.

Among 14,40,726 survey numbers verified under land records purification programme, 13,54,083 survey numbers were found clear and 86,643 survey numbers were found not clear.

Among 15,60,504 acres of land which were found clear, 11,11,821 acres are agriculture land, 58,088 acres come under non-agriculture land with pattas, 14,7530 acres come under government land, 1,05,694 acres come under forest land, 4170 acres was endowment land and 1,140 acres was wakf land.

In the 96,078 acres of land which were not clear, 3,766 acres come under civil court cases, 1,221 acres were facing revenue court cases, 3,3121 acres were facing forest-revenue boundary disputes, 4,401 acres were in family and possession disputes, 226 acres were facing endowment issues, 96 acres come under bhoodan land issues, 240 acres was under evacuee property land issues.

During the land verification programme, it was also found that 1,31,402 acres of government land was with original assignee and 8,884 acres of signed land was in the hands of third parties in violation of POT Act.
