Funds to be released under Incentive Based Grants

Hyderabad: The 15th Finance Commission has decided to release funds under Incentive Based Grants considering the State’s growth rate, said Chief Secretary SP Singh and asked the department heads to come up with special reports.

The Chief Secretary held a meeting with Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and other department heads at Secretariat on 15th Finance commission reports, budget proposals, expenditure of SC/ST special funds and other issues pertaining to the State development.

While addressing the meeting, he said reports prepared by the department heads will be crucial to get more funds under the 15th Finance Commission. Singh said the Commission member will tour in the State starting from April and asked officials to submit their reports before February 7. The meeting also discussed in detail on grants released to local bodies, tax and revaluation details, district wise development programmes, strategy development goals, income and expenditure status. Singh said the government has deployed special team and nodal officer in finance department.

Speaking on the occasion, Special Chief Secretary, Finance K Ramakrishna Rao said details of all government employees has been uploaded on CGG portal and asked them to cross-check the details. He also wanted details of bank accounts of home guards, aganwadis, daily wage ,full time, part time, contingent workers and VRA’s details. State government advisor to Finance department GR Reddy, special secretaries Ajay Mishara, Rajeshwar Tiwari, Chitra Ramchandran, Principal Secretaries Ramkrishna Rao, Adhar Sinha, Rajath Kumar, Shalini Mishara, Somesh Kumar, Shashank Goel and Secretaries Venkatesham, Partha Sarathi, Dana Kishor, Sandeep Sulthania, Chandravadhan and other officials participated in the meeting.
