Telangana: 500 school students to participate in Nizamabad Science exhibition

Nizamabad: Education brings a turning point in everyone’s life, whoever strives for better education can have a bright future, said Nizamabad Collector Ravinder Reddy, after inaugurating district-level Science exhibition, here on Sunday.

Nizamabad Mayor Aakula Sujatha and Collector Reddy, lit the lamp and inaugurated the 45th Jawaharlal Nehru district-level Science, Mathematics and Environmental Exhibition at SFS High School.

In the three-day Science exhibition, nearly 500 school students will present 250 exhibits from various schools of Nizamabad district.

Collector Reddy said the Science exhibition will help bring out latent talent of students and encourage them to think about various happenings and provide solutions to various problems.

Reddy said in his childhood he had exhibited a submarine at the Nalgonda district-level science exhibition, he and his school teacher had walked nearly seven kilometres to attend the exhibition. Today, government was providing all facilities to students and conducting fairs across the State, he added.

Nizamabad Mayor Aakula Sujatha said students should give priority to experiments during school days, learn logically about various issues and utilise Science exhibition, she added.

Ramakrishna Vidya Niketan school students presented a dance programme, Class IV student Samskruthi presented a classical dance.

Nizamabad DEO Nampalli Rajesh, District Science Officer Gangakishan, DIET College Principal Srinivas and Municipal Corporators participated in the inaugural session.
