Rich tributes paid to Ambedkar in Nalgonda

Nalgonda: Several leaders on Wednesday paid rich tributes to the architect of Constitution of India Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar on his death anniversary.

Collector Gaurav Uppal, Superintendent of Police D V Srinivas Rao and Nalgonda Muncipal Chairperson Ganduri Pravallika Prakash were among those who garlanded the statue of Dr Ambedkar at Budha Gardens near Marriguda and paid rich tributes to the national leader.

Uppal said Dr Ambedkar had played key role in preparing Constitution of India and also worked for the upliftment of downtrodden sections. The principles of Ambedkar was a model to follow by the youth in present generations, he said.

Rao said students and youth should take inspiration from the life of Dr B R Ambedkar and strive to achieve high goals in life. He underlined the need to propagate the principles of Dr  Ambedkar.
