No shortfall of talent in Telangana: Etela Rajender

Karimnagar: Finance and Civil Supplies Minister Etela Rajender opined that there was no shortfall of poets, artists and intellectuals in Telangana. Stating that people of the region never thought that the World Telugu Conference would be organised on such a grand scale, the talent of poets and artists of Telangana was being showcased at WTC.

Etela inaugurated a new building of the Zilla Parishad High School (Boys) which was constructed at a cost of Rs 2.40 crore in Jammikunta on Sunday.

The Minister opined that schools, hospitals and other government institutions had been run in old buildings during the last 57 years during Andhra rulers’ regime. Apart from playing politics, they never thought about development. However, all the institutions were shifted to new buildings after the State formation.

Reminding of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s frequently comments that he (Modi) became the Prime Minister despite selling tea, Etela said that he had also pursued education by consuming substandard food at a social welfare hostel.
