Eight injured in Suryapet road mishap

Suryapet: Eight passengers were injured when a TSRTC bus rammed into roadside at Mukududevulapally village of Athmakur(S) mandal in the district on Saturday.

The injured were identified as Naga Bushanam, driver of the bus, Aravind Reddy, a native of Mahaboobabad, Krishnaveni, Lakshmi and Narsamma, residents of Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district, Surjatha, a native of Abbaipalem village and Venkatamma, a resident of Kethapet in Miryalaguda mandal.

The mishap happened when the bus driver tried to overtake a lorry and lost control. The bus was going to Suryapet from Mahaboobabad.

The injured have been shifted to Area hospital at Suryapet for the treatment. A case has been filed.
