Telangana TDP leaders arrested in Nalgonda during Rythu Deeksha

Nalgonda: Police on Monday arrested TTDP State president L Ramana and politburo member Mothukupally Narsimhulu during a Rythu Deeksha at the district Collectorate. Tension prevailed when the party members tried to obstruct the police while they were shifting the arrested TTDP leaders.

Narsimhulu launched the Rythu Deeksha at the Collectorate at 11 am on Monday. Police shifted them from the place when the TDP leaders tried to lay seige to the Collectorate at around 5 pm.

Earlier, addressing the gathering, L Ramana stated that the TDP was also fighting against farmers’ issues in the State, and announced that the TTDP would soon stage a protest demonstration in front of the office of the Agriculture Commissioner on the issues being faced by the farmers.

TTDP politburo member Mothukupally Narsimhulu said that paddy farmers suffered crop loss in the State due to rice blast rice disease in the State. TTDP leader senior Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, Sita Dayakar Reddy, TDP State organising secretary Maragoni Srinivas Goud and others also participated in the programme.
