Dattatreya seeks white paper on vacancies in government hospitals

Hyderabad: Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya on Tuesday demanded that the State government release a white paper on vacancies in various government departments.

Addressing a press conference at the party office here, he said that the party, to mount pressure on the State government to provide employment, would be organizing ‘Nirudhyoga Samarabheri’ on November 26 at Saroornagar stadium.

“The State government has failed to utilize human resources in a proper way and is unable to sort out the unemployment issue even after three and half years of governance,” Dattatreaya said, adding that the TS youth were eagerly waiting for notifications to various posts. The State government, however, was giving approval only for small number of posts which are again pending in courts, the BJP MP said.

He further said that Central government had introduced various schemes to tackle unemployment and sanctioned Rs 2.74 lakh crore loans through Mudhra Bank for self employment.

Replying to a question, Dattatreya said there was nothing wrong in sharing the dais with ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader in inaugural functions of developmental programmes and launching of schemes. “It doesn’t mean that BJP is not fighting on issues,” he clarified.
