CCS police arrest inter-State thief in Warangal

Warangal Urban: Central Crime Station (CCS) police have arrested one member of a two-member inter-State thieves’ gang here on Thursday, and recovered Rs 12.45 laks worth gold ornaments, three autorickshaws, and three motorcycles from his possession.

Additional DCP (crimes) B Ashok Kumar said that the CCS police had nabbed the accused Jannu Arjun alias Ajji of SR Nagar near Enumamula market, while he was coming from Enumamula market area to sell the stolen property on a bike. However, his accomplice, who has been identified as Baribatla Sai of  Pochamma Maidan, Warangal, is absconding.

The additional DCP said that the duo had committed 12 thefts under different police station limits, and added that they would soon arrest Sai who is at large. ACP B Babu Rao, CCS Inspector David Raju, SI BVS Rao and others were present at the press meet.
